Driver has lucky escape from burning vehicle

SATTAHIP: -- A 33-year-old Thai female and her seven-year-old son had a lucky escape from their vehicle which suddenly burst into flames. On Monday afternoon fire brigade units were called to Sukhumvit Highway in Sattahip, close to the junction with Soi 51, to deal with a motor vehicle which had caught fire. The female owner of the vehicle said her Mitsubishi sedan was fitted with both petrol and LPG tanks. She had just taken her son to see a doctor and was returning home when the car lost power.
