Its really heartwarming to see that the Chiang Rai Gang has opened a " Page of Remberance [Rememberance]" for the area.

Kinda nice to know that as we all do get older and closer to the final call that someone will think about us.

Shows that there are some good heart softies out there.

Arnt we all good heart softies

It was heartwarming to see that two days ago more than forty foreigners

came for a last goodbye at the cremation of Dutch Jacques.

Among them even some who hardly knew Jacques, but just wanted to pay

respect to a fellow Chiang Rai expat that passed away.

It shows indeed that there is a fantastic community spirit among

the foreigners living in Chiang Rai.

What is happening on this forum is certainly not always

representative for the Chiang Rai expat community.

'Out there' people of all walks of life unite and contribute to

a positive atmosphere that benefits all of us as individuals

and as members of the same group.
