Crime suppression operation leads to arrests

PATTAYA: -- Acting on information gathered over a period of time, Pattaya police officers launched a couple of raids at specific locations in the city and apprehended a number of alleged criminals and caches of weapons, drugs and vehicles.

In the early hours of Friday morning a large contingent of Pattaya police lined up in the car park of the Soi 9 station, wiped the sleep from their eyes and, armed to the gunwales, prepared to raid a low rent apartment complex that had been specifically described as harbouring people engaged in illegal activities.
