I bought a new Isuzu pickup 11 years ago and every 5,000 km take it to the dealer for oil change, maintainace, etc.

At 40,000 km., they repacked the wheel bearings. Then, at 55,000 km., without looking at my maintainance records, the guy said they should repack the wheel bearings. I said it was just done at 40,000, and he said ok, good enough.

I will be taking it in again at 60,000 km., and Im wondering how often the bearings need to be repacked? If the first time was 40k, is it safe to assume the next time should be 80k.?
