BJJ is great for fighting a single, unarmed opponent since it incorporates an important element in fighting: groundfighting. However, against multiple opponents or an armed opponent, it would not prove very effective. I think BJJ is more of a compliment to other fighting styles since it's not a complete system on its own. The Bangkok Fight Club features BJJ and as mentioned there are some famous instructors who come here to teach it but the costs of these seminars often outweighs the benefits; BJJ takes a while to learn and these instructors are simply not in Thailand long enough to teach everything.
