If coming from the UK, what licence do I need to ride/buy a bike in HH?

I don't actually know any Thai people who have valid driver's licenses, yet they all seem to drive.

You will get along fine with your UK driver's license. But it's a good idea to get a Thai license if you're staying (prepare for a lot of paperwork on this one)
