Just seen on the link below that pre Feb 2010 Fortuners in India are being given free brake upgrades due to a lot of complaints regarding poor braking performance, surely Toyota should be doing this to all Fortuners and not just in India ?

2009-2010 Thai Fortuner brakes from 100-0kmh in only 45 meters, on par with slightly older Benz S klasse. Excellent brakes

Yes people with Vigo and Fortuner have been complaining about the brake preformance and on other web forum's if you check, that's why toyota did something about it after 2009 with larger disc's and brake master cylinder.

Before this it was on par with competition, in this segment only Nissan Navara was better in LOS.
