T Ot Stop All Torrents

Featured Replies

just been on phone to tot free number 1100 and asked why my torrents have stopped at 10 this morning

she said all torrents are stopped and will not be conected again the reason being to share the bandwith equal to all

wonder if others will follow

I tested a torrent on my TOT connection a few minutes ago and it was working so it's not a blanket ban.....yet. However, my international connection is getting worse by the day. I have to keep switching my router off and then resetting it. I am on the phone to them once a day now. Yes, I know, it's a waste of time but at least they will have a record of my complaints when i try to cancel the contract.

Noticed that I was blocked (IP address) from accessing a few torrent sites, checked by using my wifes machine (different IP Address) and found I could access the sites.

Share the bandwidth for all, hello I pay for my bandwidth and never get what I pay for.

in contact with TOT have told them I want the ban removed, have asked for the contract details to be sent to me where it states they can ban my IP address, as I have not received anything in writing.

Trying to legally argue your rights over the phone with a giant like TOT is rather hilarious. You might actually get more accomplished if you just handcuff yourself to their front door.

They really don't care, trust me on this. The telecom and internet companies here are incredibly arrogant because they have government support at the highest levels.

Long call with TOT, I explained that I have two computers both using wireless networking to my Router, one laptop that cannot access 1337x.org, the other a Desktop that can. I have a back up system using a VPN from my laptop that can access the site, so this tells me the problem is not at the end or here but in the middle, which is TOT.

I asked for a fault number so that I can phone and check on how the fault is going, there are no fault numbers.

The call centre have given the call to an Engineer who will make an appointment to see me about this fault, <deleted>, just log onto the server at TOT and disenable the ban, so easy.

Now have access again, but not sure why, I received an email from 1337x.org saying that Malwarebytes might block the website opening, but do not understand why it did not block it when I used my VPN from the same computer.

I'm running OK. But up and down bandwidth all day...well, pretty much the past week or so.

Already much discussed here
