I know there is another thread about lactose-free milk floating around. I am looking rather for lactaid, or an equivalent — which are pills you take when you eat dairy foods, that provide lactase.

I've asked around at countless pharmacies, but it is not carried.

I can order from Amazon, but the cost of shipping is triple the value of the pills, so I hope to find another solution first.

To specify: I live in Bangkok, so would be looking for a resource here.

Thanks!

I don't know where to get these from but I recommend you try a hospital.

Some patients who don't produce their a range of digestive enzymes for one reason or another will need access to these and they should be available there.

Hey Kapoha.......in BKK, I'm 100% certain I saw brand name "Lactaid" at a pharmacy. However, I'm only 90% sure that I remember which pharmacy it was. With that qualifier......the one I'm thinking of is on Sukhumvit, near Nana......opposite side of Sukhumvit from Nana (so pharmacy is on same side as JW Marriott).........between Bully's Pub and the gas station with the mini-McDonald's kiosk. There are two pharmacies within those boundaries......the one I'm thinking of is the smaller of the two, and it is the one closer to the gas station (further from the Bully's).

I truly hope that helps.

CHEERS!
