Hi Guys, the wife and I are looking to buy a town house early next year, or at least make the down payment towards Christmas this year. Were primarily looking at the Kaset/Nawamin area, kind of between Lad Phrao road and Ramintra Rd. We've already looked at a couple of very nice developments but I'd like to find out about all current developments. Our budget is <5m.

Oh, and by the way, I do not want this thread to turn into the usual 'farang can't buy house in Thailand... you must be crazy to put it in your wife's name' etc etc etc.

There are a lot of projects down "Maiyalap" and "Lat Plakhao" roads which connect KasetNawamin road to Ramintra.

Mostly single houses, but some of the projects have townhouses.

P.S. If you are a planning to spend 5M on a non-commercial property why buy a townhouse instead of single house?

I can understand spending 5M if you wanted the townhouse on the main road for commercial reasons...but for living in?
