Okay ,.... heard that a a Thai married to a Farang with his surname loses her "right" to own land in Thailand..true or false? What if she retains her Thai surname??

False!!!! She always retains her right to purchase and have land in her name, surname or married.

My wife changed her family name to mine in 2002 and she bought land

in 2007. No problems.

Also owned land and she still has it.

I remember that such rules existed. But the laws have been changed "long ago" (can not tell when that was). My wife has adopted my surname and absolutely no loss. She bought land after that too. Now owns some 42 rai of farmland
