Just wanted to say these northerly winds for the last couple of days have made the evenings and mornings a little bit easier to enjoy. It won't be much longer now when we can sleep with the windows open and the AC off again. I can't wait!

and the days .... i walked round the outer moat today from tapae gate to tapae gate and it was nice in the wind

pic 1 .... this poster ( opposite wat chai sri phoom ) for the kings birthday on dec 5 th has been put up all round the moat over the last week.

pic 2 ... the new sprinklers that have been put in on the grassy areas round the moat over about the last month are starting to be used.

pic 3 ... the first kingfisher ive seen in chiang mai for over two years

pic 4 ... a 3inch bug i found resting just past chiang mai ram.

pic 5 ... sprinklers being installed on the west inner moat .

pic 6 ... a butterfly on the corner near the lai thai.

pic 7 ... a 2 inch baby preying mantis in buak hard park at 4 30 ish

Ah, another explorer by foot! I also like getting out and around town by walking. Great way to find things that you may overlook by driving or riding.
