I dont' have a problem with you lot posting pics of women you might find attractive my problem is the suggestion that subjects other posters like might be cause for bedlam to going to the dogs.

If you want to go down that route then maybe we just need to get rid of bedlam all together as it is supposed to be a place for (all) members to post more freely & off topic that the rest of the forum. Who says it can only be limited to naked pictures of women or chat about fishing??????????

Maybe instead of always attacking posters who express problems, a way could be found to limit embeding.

Attack? You really are a sensitive sally oc, seems to be a reoccuring theme whenever you are directing a post at me. That wasn't an attack but if I really let rip no doubt a few of you with more delicate dispositions would be weeping in your beers already.

Not everyone wants to read the stuff posted by some of you & some of you don't want to look at the you tube threads. One wonders who exactly is standing over you with a gun pointed to your head forcing you to open them?

When I was on mobile phone modem I didn't open the you tube threads cause I knew it would slow down my connection but having the threads on thaivisa didn't slow it down, so long as I didn't open them. Easy innit

And it all goes back to that, you don't like the content then why the heck are you sitting on your ass complaining about it instead of doing something to create a thread you do like?

grumpy today, between the torrential rains and the flooding and the fact that my dog's paw is swollen and she is limping in pain (I am guessing centipede bite since there is no mark on her paw) and that I have to go to Samui tomorrow on a crappy boat in big waves and do my visa extension at Immigration has made me slightly fed up and impatient with those who sit and whinge and don't do anything to improve things.

The rise of the Tube on here mirrors the fernominominom of bloody " Powerpoint".

In days of yore people who knew what they were on about, gave briefings or held informative meetings to get their points across. Now they darken the room, show lovely graphics prepared by someone else, read from prepared scripts to a now sleeping audience and then put the lights on and leave.

All about dumbing down really.....init.

There are some great intelligent informative PPS files around, but too many are a bore.
