Two conflicting stories as Police deal with a fight in Soi 8.

An interesting case of fighting presented itself to Pattaya Police Station late on Monday Night. The altercation was between an English man and an Italian. The incident occurred in Soi 8 and the usual case of two conflicting stories left Police with the difficult decision of who to blame. Story number one from the Italian man begins when he is driving his Black Chevrolet along Soi 8. In the middle of the road is the English man, Mr. David Marco aged 39. Mr. Pino aged 31 claims that Mr. Marco, who was apparently drunk, was blocking the road. He ignored the horn and then Mr. Pino claims that Mr. Marco jumped on his car and begun dancing on his bonnet. At this point a fight took place as Mr. Pino attempted to remove the English man from his car. Story number two from Mr. Marco is similar apart from the fact that he claims he fell onto the car and then went into a bar. Mr. Pino then apparently followed him and demanded a fight. At the Police Station Police decided to charge both men with fighting and they were fined 500 Baht. Mr. Marco also agreed to pay for any damage caused to Mr. Pino’s car.
