What are the options to reach suvernabhumi airport at 6 am from pattaya? Any buses? Flight is at 8.00 am.

Is taxi the only option? How much does it cost at that time? I'm assuming I will have to leave around 4.30am.

I think taxis cost around 800 baht,,, not sure whether there are minivans travelling directly to airport or not, but they would probably be cheapest option, pick up area I think is beside 7eleven not far from temple driving down past tuk com, when i'm travelling for an early check in I usually travel the night before and stay in the great residence hotel or the thong ta resort hotel,, both less than 10 minutes drive from Airport and they offer free airport shuttle service, cost less than 700 baht per night

Taxi is probably your best bet, but to be safe, I suggest you allow at least 2 hours to get there...just in case of a vehicle break down.

Yes, taxi from Pattaya to BKK is < 1,000 baht. Door to door. However, having made that trip and morning flights a few times, I recommend against it. I hate getting up at 4 AM, then making the drive up to the airport, then starting the travel day. You might want to consider going up to BKK the day before, taking the bus ( ~ < 200 baht). Then the following morning of your flight, it is a lot easier to get to the airport. I have done it both ways.
