Air Asia To Paris

Featured Replies

Air Asia are commencing their service to Paris Orly, from KL, from 14 February 2011.

Seats go on sale on 22 November with a lead all in one way fare of 4510 Baht, plus their famous convenience fee. I suspect you would be lucky to get that price, though you would save the new UK, rip off, APD.

It looks like AirAsia X (D7), and KUL-CDG (I assume, their PR doesn't state which Paris airport) four (4) times per week with A340's (on order but not yet delivered). They also have some A330-300's.

It looks like AirAsia X (D7), and KUL-CDG ORY (I assume, their PR doesn't state which Paris airport) four (4) times per week with A340's (on order but not yet delivered). They also have some A330-300's.

Yes, sorry, it is ORY, finally found some 3rd party articles that mention ORY. D7's PR mentions only "Paris" . (The airport code PAR includes both CDG and ORY.)

" between Paris- Orly International Airport and Kuala Lumpur International Airport’s Low Cost Carrier Terminal"

Thanks to the OP (theoldgit) for giving that information which states clearly the departure and arrival airports.

:jap: I'll have to stop that speed reading.

OP first line says it all, jeez @#$%^&*

Air Asia are commencing their service to Paris Orly, from KL, from 14 February 2011.

Just to reiterate details not included on the OP...

This is not daily service, only four times per week, planned with aircraft not yet delivered (see TG's 5-A330-300 delivery delays due to Koito Industries). I assume D7 have hired qualified pilots, which are nearly impossible to find these days.

For many here you will have to carefully plan the connection BKK-KUL to possibly utilise this new route. D7 have not, as far as I can determine, released a schedule for these flights (departure/arrival times or days of week of operation).
