Launching A Sailboat

Hi

I need a contact around Chalong Bay who has experience launching boats from the back of a truck.

The boat is 20feet 2000lbs. draws 2feet. It does not have a trailer.

I have contacted a few Yacht Clubs, but fees are out of my range (for berthing anyway). Any advice would be appreciated.

Have a drive round and look for a boat yard. most will trailer the boat to a slipway and launch it for you. Here in Samui it costs around 300 - 500 baht depending on where you want it slipped.

Do you already have a mooring for it? I know of a small boatyard that could get it in the water, and could install a mooring for you.
