November 26, 201015 yr Hi guys, I have a very good friend coming over to Bangkok in December, he is a percussionist based in Japan. He's interested in all percussion instruments (except those with which mallets are used), and is looking to pick up some new toys while in Bangkok. Although I use the word 'toys' we're defintiely not looking for tourist crap bongo drums or whatever, we're looking for real precussion instruments, whatever and wherever they may be. Does anyone know of a music instrument shop in Bangkok that has a good selection of decent quality S.E. Asian traditional instruments (with a bias towards percussion and drums). Many thanks for any info on this, I have a feeling it's gonna be like trying to find a needle in a haystack!
