I know we've discussed on here where the best place to exchange Euros for THB, but I'm going to Europe and want to exchange THB for Euros. I was told I'll get a better rate here than if I wait till I get to Europe and do an ATM withdrawal. Is this correct, and if so, where should I change THB to Euro and should I use an ATM card or do the transaction in cash?

Thx

ATM withdrawals should be expensive, so are exchange booths at the airports of arrival. Order Euros at Kasikorn or Bangkokbank before, I would think they have the cheapest rates.

The only problem with that is walking around with 100,000 THB worth of Euros while in Europe. Of course it will be my room's safe but when traveling from city to city I'll have to hand carry all that cash on my person. Will have to be very discreet.
