Ned
Do they accept a medical certificate from a clinic. Some years ago they knocked me back and sent me to a hospital to get one for a visa. Thanks

elektrified
Indeed they do accept them from a clinic. They are about 50-70 Baht almost anywhere you go. Whatever is most convenient.
Ned
Thanks for that. The local clinic is a lot more convenient.
Sansai Sam
There is a clinic directly opposite the main entrance to Rajhabat University in Chang Pueak....20 baht and 5 minutes! I renewed my license last month and had no problems.

I renewed my license last month and had no problems. Same deal, 20 baht/5 minutes, on the south side moat road about mid-way between the 2 gates on the inside. Been going there for years. Sit on the edge of a gurney while a doctor uses a stethosope around your back and chest and that's it.
bluweyze
My medical certificate for my licence cost 30 Baht but consisted of no more than giving them my passport and the money. No examination. This is Thailand, perhaps I looked fit!

Maybe I looked fit too :-)
Sansai Sam
The clinic I mentioned performs no examination of any kind. You walk in, hand them your passport and 20 baht and sit in the lobby until he calls you 5 minutes later and hands you the letter.....Love it here!
