Guide Me

Featured Replies

Hey folks, how much should I pay for an English speaking guide and where will I find one near Chiang Mai?. I am looking for someone that wont rip of a newbie, well not by to much anyway, and can help me find stuff and organise documents etc to do stuff in Chiang Mai. I will need a Guide for about a week

Cheers

Lee

Try a university campus. Depending what you want you may find two students willing to spend some time as a guide. For the odd day ot two anyway. You could try the tourism and hospitality department and speak to a lecturer. May be very keen to assist. Helps them too.

My case is a little different.

I live here and would be interested in a Knowledgeably good English speaking guide. Not to see the Temples.

It would be interesting to hear about the various Thai celebrations. All though they are not being held at the moment see the locals. Hear some of the history of Chiang Mai Visit little known locations. Or out of the way ones. Museums in short get a deeeper feeling of the city I choose t live in.:jap:

What do you mean, a spiritual guide who smoothly leads you along the obstacles of life ?

Or do you need a tour guide, in that case I know a good Thai guy for you, just PM in case you still need.

call this woman and explain to her on the phone what you want and for how long .her english is excellent -she has a car -legal background- and is a tour guide.she is nice and not looking for a boyfriend.
