Getting cable tv can you choose any channels or does it come with standard channels?

You get what they have. No choices, no HBO package or anything like that. Unless you get True Visions, which around here is Digital Satellite TV.

Local TV suppliers usually provide a standard package with all the channels they offer. Doubt whether you can pick & choose .

Yes and they set up the TV channels the way you want them for you when they do the installation

As an example they will put all the sports channels together

Does anyone know of any cable company who will connect me in Pak-Lok.

Tried KKP but they refused, said I am too far from the monument (5km)

Spoke with a satelite installer too (non UBC) who would set me up for a one-off fee of 4500 baht - but he disappeared completely after i called him once

I don't need sport or movies - just some English language channels (preferably BBC News)
