Uploading To A Server Via Wireless Connection

Featured Replies

Im just about to move apartment to my gf's place and my gf has a contract with cat telecom for a wireless connection.

The connection I currently have is a lan connection setup through my condo and it is bloody good. Download speeds are normally 150-200kbps. Its with T.O.T and perhaps at an inflated price I pay 700 baht per month for it and it is unlimited.

Im currently finishing up my websites and eventually will have to upload them to a server. They wont be ready until Im in my new house however.

Will the cat telecom wireless connection my girlfriend have be ok to do this...? If not can anyone recommend what I should o...?

It is just another connection to the internet. If you can log into your server it should work. Why not speed test it and see how long it may take. The up load speed is normally half the download but can be less. A speed test should post both.

What amount of data are we talking about?

If you just want to upload the data it will work but if you have to wait for 3 days you will have too much coffee....
