I'm finding that watching Thai Movies with the English subtitles is a really good way to improve my Thai. I have found a couple of good websites including Yellow Cinema but I've downloaded all the good ones already - I don't like horror movies.

It seems that even though movies are shown at the cinema with English subtitles they are released without them (previously discussed) - although I have managed to find them on occasions. Does anyone know where I can buy or rent Thai movies with English subtitles? (Preferably cheap!) I have seen them very cheap but usually without subs.

Hi Krupnik, haven't come across anywhere that sell thai movies with English subs. When I download the movie I also download the English subs (if they're available) and either burn them to disk as hardsubs or put them in the same folder as the movie (file name must be same except for file format eg .avi .srt etc) most new DVD players will play the movie and pick-up the sub at the same time. Bought movies from a shop is a wee bit more difficult to add subs.
