No. Actually, it is the opposite. Nobody would wish to live there, even the Mullahs... As I say, even the Mullahs don't like living in a derelict environment, and... This is why they are so grumpy. Give them water, and let the desert bloom. Maybe then, the Mullahs will become distracted by the beauty of Nature. But, Really: Who can blame the Arabs for being so fractious? If you grew up in a desert, with only a camel for a prospective marriage partner....then... \Would you not, too, become disgruntled?
