December 13, 201015 yr IMHO the car is insured, not the driver, unless it is in the terms of the insurance that you will be the only driver.
December 13, 201015 yr Most normal 1st class insurance policies in Thailand are valid for any licensed driver, however it is possible to have insurance policies with named driver's only covered (cheaper) and also to have policies that require a minimum driver age. Check your policy.
December 14, 201015 yr It is your vehicle that is insured so if you do not have your name as the only driver then 'yes' you can let anyone drive (not for money). If you are not quite sure please email us a copy of the policy and we will check it for you.
