I bought a new Vigo around a year ago from Toyota and I put 50% down of 950,000 baht. I now find that my wife is in need of a medical procedure and I am cash poor, so does anyone know of a company that loans money on car titles? I still owe around 425,000 on it and I think its value is around 750,000 - 800,000 on the retail market. I am looking for a loan of around 100,000-200,000 on it for at least 6 months. The car is in my wifes name.

Thanks!

If it's still financed you're not going to get a legitimate company to give you a loan on it. Possibly a refinance but highly unlikely, your only chance is a loan shark and they'll want to keep the truck until it's paid off.

agree, as you dont have the title, car belongs to finance company, your only chance would be to leave car with a shark, charging 3% a month, probably worth 2-300k without book/title

could also check withyour present financecompany if they could increase balance, but then they would probably swap to secondhand finance going from your present 2-3% to 6-7% interest
