..................................................

Just noticed it wasn't the OP that asked the internet question, it was Mickba.

My apologies for taking you off topic.

One month later I have made no real progress and I'm still on Thaicom 2/5 (PSI) with next to nothing in English.

I thought I was getting there with JSat, but they seem to have gone to sleep.

I believe the package I want is the one from Indonesia - Sky Nindo/Telkom Vision (?).

I believe I probably need a new dish, LNB, receiver and subscription. All cabling into the house is already there.

Having done a motorised system installation in the UK in the 'olden days' it seems to me that this should be pretty straightforward? I'm even starting to wonder if I could do it myself - almost.

I'm North of Pattaya - Banglamung just South of Laem Chabang.

Can anyone suggest someone who could help me please?

Though these LNBs with simultaneous H and V output use 2 different LOs to map the channels to different parts in the L (IF) band. Unless your receiver can handle that, you will need to fiddle with a calculator to find out where to tune.
