Body / Health Related Things To Get Done While In Thailand?

My gf and I figured that while we're in Thailand, we might as well check some stuff of our list and save some money at the same time. Below is a list we compiled based on what we've been wanting to get done for several years now, but didn't have the time and / or money to do. Could someone please suggest more items if you can think of some? I.e. what do people usually like to get done when they visit?

Confirmed:

- dental crown and root canal (me)

- teeth whitening (both)

- forehead wrinkle and facial skin treatment (me)

- blonde hair highlights (both haha)

- tattoos (both)

Considering:

- eyelid cosmetic surgery for asian eyes (her)

- nose job (her)

- ears pinned back (both)

P.S. We'll be going to Hong Kong after - would it be better to do some (which?) of these there instead? Thanks in advance guys! :)

Well skin whitening is far and away the most popular. It is a more local choice. I understand that breast enhancement and Botox injections are reasonable.

Understand that tourist areas mean tourist prices.

Example a 15,000baht tattoo on Khao San Rd. costs me 3000baht in Chanthaburi.

EVERYTHING is relative.

Would think that all of those things are cheaper in Thailand than Hong Kong.

But as pointed out - it pays to shop around a bit as big variations in both price and standard here in Thailand.

Other items that are popular here, and not mentioned yet, would be total health check up, as well as, in the more alternative world; detoxing/cleansing/colonic treatments.

Cheers!

- eyelid cosmetic surgery for asian eyes (her)

This is a new one for me. Is your girlfriend Asian and wants less Asian-looking eyes? Or is she western and wants her eyes to be more Asian-like?

For the cosmetic stuff--including Botox for your forehead-- if you want a 1 stop place and don't have the time to shop around---then BKK/Pattaya hospital would probably suit you-----the dental work can be done outside of this hospital----as that part IMO is a lot higher then should be, & there are many good dentist in Pattaya. A crown should be about 3-6 day wait, and the price does vary ---usually 3 grades --- on the amount of Gold you have on the inside of the tooth.

If you have time of course individual places will be cheaper.
