90 Day Report , From Sept 25 How Much Over?

Featured Replies

Guess I missed the reporting day. Entry stamp was Sept 25, taking Thai holidays into account, how many days am I actually past due?

Holidays are not taken into account, since you have a 7 day window before and after the due date (if you go in person).

But if you go today they might be lenient.

About baht 2,000 over, according to my figures.

5 days Sept

31 Oct

30 Nov

24 Dec

90 Days

and even including the 7 days +- factor, you might, just might, have been OK if you'd gone in yesterday, 31 Dec-3 Jan are holidays.

Hold on here, you might, just might, be OK if you do the report today!! Yesterday was a holiday, too.

FYI, the only holidays that count are those that fall on your report day.

This post does not make any sense to me. A 90 day report is only for Non Imm visas. If the OP entered Thailand on September 25th would he not be on a tourist visa?

Overdue on a 90 day report is not the same as "overstay" where they charge you 500 baht per day. There are certain fines and/or jail sentences for this law.

I am curious to know more about the OP's status with his visa and why he has to report every 90 days?

YOU TRY, YOU KNOW, DASHING OFF TO IMMI NOW!!!

THANKS

This post was made on the 4th in which is a holiday here in Thailand so I think your trip to the Immigration office will not be a happy one today.

He is most likely on an "Extension of Stay", and re-entered Thailand on the 25th, that would start his 90 day period before having to do an address report.

First of all , gentlemen thanks for your input.

Secondly, I am on a retirement visa, which does require 90 day reporting, counted from my last re-entry into Thailand which was Sep 25.

Thirdly, unfortunately each count of elapsed days with the help of their fingers by 2 officers turned out that I was late,

2000 b out of the window, period
