Requirements For W.p. 3 Certificate

Featured Replies

I know there has been a flurry of concern about how to obtain a W.P.3 form.

(if this means nothing to you, then you need not worry about this - and you should move on to more interesting posts).

I cannot speak as to whether a W.P. 3 certificate is actually needed by anyone other than Indians, Filipinos, Indonesians, Pakistanis, and a few other nationalities, but - if you think you need to obtain a W.P.3, I have put up a webpage at which the various required forms may be downloaded.

See: http://www.thaistartup.com/wp3.html

The main application form iteslf is actually a fold-over, four page form - with the inside pages "for official use only" - meaning that a printout from this weblink is not suitable for formal submission. But - this version informs you of what information is needed to complete the official form.

If and when the "W.P.3" storm has blown over, the moderators are welcome to obliterate this post. I suspect that this requirement will not persist for most nationalities - because it is a moderately painful hassle.

Cheers!

Perhaps a bureaucratic hurdle meant to discourage people of certain nationalities from even applying for a business visa...? :o
