Iphone4

I can upgrade my iPhone 3 to a 4 next month. I move to Thailand in March. Can I use the new phone in Pattaya?

No it will only work within the designated iphone 4 areas of the world...

Yes of course.

Of course you can, that is the beautiful thing about the iPhone!!! Are you coming from the US? If your phone is an AT&T phone, you will have to unlock it. If you are coming from Europe or somewhere, check with your provider to see if they will unlock it for you. Otherwise, you can find all of the software to unlock it for free online. It's a pretty easy process!

Next month, Apple is releasing a CDMA version of the iPhone 4. Those won't work in Thailand. There are many places in Thailand that'll unlock your GSM iPhone but the best way is to buy a factory unlocked version.
