Buy Back Or Trade In Deals

Hi,

Does anyone knows good places to sell back phones with reasonable offers or may be trade in with new phone plus some add in money. I saw many mobile shops in MBK but they offered me very low prices. Any other places? Please let me know cause I want to upgrade my current phone. Thank you.

When it comes to certain things in Thailand, the resell value is very low when going to a company to buy back items. The best deals would be a genuine item (not copy or knock-off) that you already purchased at a store. Then you return to the SAME store to purchase a new phone. Ask first what their buy-back policy is.

It's a risk thing, especially with a small electronic device like a cell phone. To be honest, you will get a better price selling it privately, either via craigslist/thaivisa classifieds, or local swap meet. Or asking some of your thai friends if they need a phone or can help ask around for you. If you can sell it for 1/2 of current retail, you did very well. 2/3s of current retail, you got lucky.
