Where Is The Immigration Office?

Recommended Posts

Outstanding post from Lopburi3, as usual. Just don't expect the driver to know where 'Soi Suan Plu" is, even if you show him a map and pronounce it five different ways. However, Lopburi's map is bilingual; you might print that out and show the driver/rider/chauffer/guy who lets you ride on his back. That's the fun of navigating Bangkok. I'm so tired of a round trip requiring 9 links by bus, train, plane, boat, motosaiycho, subway and submarine that I've scheduled my door to door trip from Hua Hin to Don Muang airport to be by one air/con taxi. It'll cost me more than double the alternatives - 1760 baht including tollway fees - but it beats going by feet, songtaew, feet, train, and no promise that I'll make it there the same day.

Last week, on my first visit there, the staff at Immigration were excellent, and it's all there in one area of the first floor, air/con and reasonably well labelled. Good luck.
