Just wondering if anyone reading this has had a meal at the Pongyang Angdoi Restaurant, and if so, what did you think of the ambience, service, and of course, the nosh?

good food, good service, great ambience and scenery, can go for a walk around the grounds first to build up the hunger. also got rooms there and have stayed for an overnighter to get that extra bit of chill without having to traipse all the way to Pai or the like. although in winter the waterfall is not as impressive as in the wet season, although impressive nonetheless.

overall well worth the trip, we always stop there when up that way.

can get busy so cant always get the best seats, view of the waterfall, so if you are going at key/popular times then might be best to reserve.

Thanks Lobin, that was one glowing review of the joint It certainly looks nice in the photos. I'll chalk it in for when i'm next out that way.

Nice location; food and service just average; lots of flies last time I ate there. Maybe worth a stop if you are passing through, but not worth a special trip.
