I'm in Vientiane for awhile. I'm looking for a good place to buy lots of good quality fruit at reasonable prices.

There are tons of markets in Chiang Mai, but so far haven't seen all that much fruit around Vientiane. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Directions/address would be appreciated.

Hi Doc,

I think you'd be best off going to Talat Khua Din which is just east of the Talat Sao bus station. But you have to get there early for good prices. Also, if possible, have a Lao friend do the buying for you.
