Changing Visas

Recommended Posts

I've been on a non B for around a year and am now about to begin studying.

I have all the paper work necessary and am just wondering whether I need to leave the country to get the new visa or can I change it at immigration in Bangkok?

The reason I ask is that I believe that with the non Ed you are able to extend the visa any number of times without leaving the country as long as you are still studying.

also how much does it cost to get a re-entry stamp?

Thanks
