Passport services in Surat Thani

SURAT THANI: -- The passport division of the Department of Consular Affairs in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOF), will send officials to Surat Thani between September 19 and 26 to allow Thai nationals to apply for passports or to extend or renew existing ones.

Applications will be accepted between 8:30 am to 3:30 pm in the provincial meeting hall in Surat Thani town.

Those interested in the passport services may book an appointment by calling the Surat Thani provincial office at tel: 077-272926.

Officers of the passport division in Bangkok could not confirm to the Gazette whether a mobile passport services clinic will be coming to Phuket in the near future – as has been the case in recent years. Instead, they advised people to look for announcements posted on the MOF website at www.mfa.go.th
