Where can we purchase Palm Oil or Vegetable Oil at in Chiang Mai.

We just went to Big C on Super Hyw and they have none.

Then went to Tops at Kad Suen Kaew.... same no Palm or Veg Oil...

But have a new RICE OIL for 119 bt per bottle.

Looking for someone who has purchased oil in the past few days

with location and was it stocked well?

Thanks.

The government has promised that the supply crisis is coming to and end and they will be importing sufficient for everyones needs. They will also prosecute profiteers. We shall see!! In the meantime, Makro on Hang Dong rd had a big delivery yesterday with no restriction as to the quantity bought. (if your not a member just take ID and get a day pass)

Big C at Hang Dong had it in stock yesterday and were restricting it to 3 bottles per person. Of course bus loads of people were there from the jungle buying it

Tesco Hang DOng had empty shelves at lunch time.

Do your health and the planet a favour, and don't buy the palm oil! Rice bran oil is expensive, but much better for both.

How is rice bran oil expensive? You can buy it for 52 Baht a liter (when there isn't a shortage like now).

I pay 52 Baht a litre. But not now of course as the 52 Baht bottles were sold out the day the shortage began!
