NguuMuu Posted September 15, 2005 Posted September 15, 2005 Does anybody have (or can make) a list of edible insect in Thai script with the English names...at least the common ones. If you don't know the names, how many edible insects are there in all do you think? I'm talking about the ones you will actually see vendors selling on the street...stuff like scorpions, ants, crickets and I don't know the names of the others...that's why I'm asking! Sorry if I posted this in the wrong area...should it go in Thai Food?
HarryHacker Posted September 15, 2005 Posted September 15, 2005 ...this may help... http://www.thaitastes.com/index.php?cPath=...e78dedfcb6e32cf
NguuMuu Posted September 15, 2005 Author Posted September 15, 2005 Yes that does help. Thanks...I guess now I'll move over to the thai language section to ask for translations as some of these will not be appearing in any of my dictionaries.
