Hi all

Bought a PS3/3.55 Jailbreak not long ago with Fifa 11 Backup game. I tried changing the DNS on my PS3 as shown on some website tutorial playing online for Jailbreak console. It actually work i manage to play online using my backup games and register for a PSN ID. But what are the chances of my console getting ban from PSN ? How soon will Sony get to know about it ?

The reason trying the online thing is that im curious and wanting to know what is it like playing online with other users .

Any advise is appreciate

Isn't playing copied games on the PS3 an illegal activity? Just like when some guy asked where to get a message with a happy ending was told that this is an illegal activity, and the topic was locked.

To answer your question before; yes, 'Sony' will have measures in place to prevent people from playing copied games online. If you want to play online, you have to update your firmware from time to time. You'll also have the sound disabled from time to time when you play copied movies.

I work for 'Sony' in Thailand. (Luckily for thaivisa I don't care what people are doing with their PS3s)
