Building A House In Chai Nat

Featured Replies

hello everyone... i'm just trying to find some useful information on building my home, i know what your thinking.... there are tons and tons of useful tid bits on this website so why is this guy asking for more? :realangry: well to be honest, i'm trying to build in an area that doesnt seem to be very popular, Nong Mamong :jap: Chai Nat to be exact, i'm trying to see if anyone has had any experience in this area and might know about construction cost or any good builders around that way, maybe some supply stores close by that deliver, anything would be greatly appreciated, i already have the land in the mrs's name and she says that she knows of many good builders but you know how it is

My suggestion is to check out the prospective builders (ask to see what they have done and check them out) and then negotiate a price to do things is phases. ie: phase 1 might be to set the footings and rough in the plumbing, etc.. After each phase, decide if a good job is being done or not. I had to fire 2 "builders" here in Udon Thani province before I finally just took over things myself - which I don't recommend but worthwhile if you can do it. For materials, I set up an account with a local supplier and that was mostly OK. Otherwise, I got the "high end" stuff from Home Pro and Global (they both deliver but we live 70km from them so had to pay 800-1500 depedning on the order). Sorry don't know about ChaiNat but hope this helps.
