Chiang Mai Nationality Groups

Hi everybody,

need to know the number of foreign nationals living permanently in Chiang Mai by nationality, in example 5.500 british, 2.000 germans etc.

I tried with the research button but doesn't work....

I'll really appreciate if you can help me with this!!

Nobody knows that answer. Not even immigration or the foreign consulates.

Immigration should of course know. They may not make the information available though.

The U.S. Consulate has what I was told is a close estimate. I would think that the other consulates/embassies would also. Perhaps not.

Judging by my trip to Immigration today there are 16 million foreign nationals living here in Chiang Mai. Five million of them would appear to be Americans. About a million each of Phillipinos and Japanese, and I guess the rest were European, except I'm guessing for the really tall Black dudes. Hope that helps
