Weekend Stays In Mae Rim Area

Featured Replies

My searching of the forum is not producing much here.

Can posters come up with any personal recommendations for a nice place to stay for one or two nights, in nature, no more than about the 1000 baht a night price range? I have several times driven the loop and see signs for resorts that look good, but wondering about what people have experienced. Bungalow style is definitely preferred.

I am thinking about trying malee's in chiang dao since that's the kind of place that seems up my street, so to speak! But mae rim would be a shorter drive.

Thanks in advance for any tips.

Malee's in Chiang Dao is quite ok and in your price range and the bonus is many nice walking trails through the surrounding area. Not sure that Mae Rim can offer similar nature walks. Not far to drive once you are out of the city surrounds.
