the free tourist visa should have finished last night, anyone know if it has been extended, or are they charging again?

also more to the point if they are charging again, has the attitude at Vientiane changed? ie are they now going to issue x2 entry's even if you have 3 already?

Finished. Fee is 1,000 baht per entry in local currency again. So far no plans have been announced for new tourist visa fee waiver.

They both said FREE T/Vs are finished!! Its back to 1000baht per single entry.

Now not being particularly curious I didnt ask about how many back to backs a tourist can get or how many entries they could get at a time.

However in an effort to be a kinder-gentler tod-daniels; you might notice I did provide the web links to them, so "enquiring minds" can find out for themselves, should they feel so inclined.

BTW: BOTH of those companies have packages where you can go to either Lao or Cambodia depending on your needs and how many tourist visas you have from a particular location.

Thanx 4 the info guys, now i've heard that loas are cuttin off at 2 now rather than 3 but does any body know if you can get a double entry TV in cambodia if you have 3 in your passport already???
