You cannot get a Non Imm O Visa from Immigration.

You can get a 12 month extension of stay.

(6) In case of marriage with a Thai lady, the husband who is an alien must have an average annual income of not less than 40,000 baht per month or a money deposit in a local Thai bank of not less than 400,000 baht for the past 2 months for expenses within a year.

You will need a bit more than that.

Marriage Certificate. Marriage Registry Entry.

Wife's Tabbien Baan and ID Card.

Letter from your bank and up to date bank book.

Photos of you and your Wife in and around the house.

Map showing the way to your house.

Passport.

Passport size photos.

Application form and 1,900 Baht fee.

2 copies of everything.

Take your Wife to be interviewed and sign a statement.

You will get a 30 day under consideration stamp.

Go back in a month and get the remainder of the 12 months.

Depending on where you apply you may or may not need a new Non Imm O Visa. :)

You will have to ask them.

First you need to get a non-O visa.

You need to convert your tourist visa to a non-O visa first or get one in neighbouring country.

Talk to your local immigrations officer if he can do it within your time frame.

Transfer cost 2000 baht.

From Police order 777/2551

It appears you may need to obtain a new visa in any case as you have less than 15 days remaining on permitted to stay (you can try but conversion with as little time remaining as you have may not be possible). A single entry non immigrant O visa should be issued by any Consulate with proof of marriage and wife ID/Home register copies and would provide a 90 day entry which allows time for your money to be in bank 2 months. When 30 days remaining you could then make application for the one year extension of that 90 day stay.

The other option as posted many time in different post here, Fly to KL the Thai Embassy will issue you a yearly non '0' based on what you already have + proof you have at least 100k in a Thai Bank + no money seasoning, maybe best option this time ?

Or as already said A single entry non immigrant O visa should be issued by any Consulate/Embassy in Asia if you do not wish to go to KL for a yearly '0'

They can not obtain a multi entry visa inside Thailand. What you can obtain is:

1. Change of visa status to non immigrant for 2,000 baht showing marriage proof and 400k in bank account. New 90 day stay permitted.

2. Extension of stay for one year for 1,900 baht showing 400k in bank two months.

3. Multi re-entry permit (if you plan frequent travel - not required otherwise) for 3,800 baht.

Total 7,700 baht

I would make very sure this process is personally done by you and wife. Most services only accompany you which is fine if you want to pay the premium for such service (which is certainly not needed) - but if this is not an open type service and done without your active participation it could turn into a slippery slope.
