Must I Enter Cambodia On My Visa Run?

i am embarking on yet another poi pet visa run soon. i was wondering if its necessary to pay the 1000 baht for the Cambodian visa. Can i just stamp out of thailand, hang around for 20 minutes, and then stamp back into Thailand?

No you can't.

You must enter and exit Cambodia

I think Thai immagration wants to see the Cambodian exit stamp before they let you back in.

Good plan, in theory....

Just loiter about nonchalantly for 20 minutes and save the $$ for a Cambo visa...

problem is when entering Thailand.. they really do need to see those Cambo stamps before allowing you back in..

but don't be discouraged by this... keep thinking of something else.
