I'm since more than 4 years the Managing Director of a dive center, holding a workpermit for that position. This company has 6 MTHB registered capital and holds 3 WP.

We have started a new company at the same location with 4 MTHB capital, to be able to apply for an additional 2 WP. Also we are starting a dive center in a new location (within the same province), also this company has a 2 MTHB capital.

I will be the director of these companies as well.

Obviously I want to use these companies to apply for new WP for my staff and don't want to "tie up" 2 MTHB from each company for my WP. My question is, do I have to put the names of these 2 new companies in my WP, or can I be the Director without doing so? I am a shareholder in each company.

Grateful for your advice.

Simply add the extra companies in your wp, saying you have no salary there.

Cheers, Robert

So Bobcat says you need 2 work permits, Kronberg says you simply add the company to the existing WP.

Would anyone else like to add there advice so we can confuse the OP a little bit more ? :o

Both Bobcat and Kronberg are correct. Just saying it different. :o

It is true he needs two other work permits, however, those work permits for the two other companies are done by submitting a brand new wp application for each company. The Thai government will not issue new wp books for each company. They will just use the "old" book and add these two companies addresses in that book.
