bhoydy Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 Well the topic gives it away really. This happened yesterday, but i've not seen anything on here yet so i thought i'd let people know. http://www.ksp.or.th/Khurusapha/en/userfiles/Notification_postponing_notification%20day.pdf The info is all on the kurusupa website. Postponed until July 15th.
skybluestu Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 I've never met a Thai called Derek before. Maybe his parents were Dr Who fans....I will exterminate.
puchooay Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Being reported on a well known teaching forum that they have actually now been suspended until further notice.

Markaew Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 The TC classes have been canceled since February unless you found a way to slip through. MOE is now forcing the schools to get permission to hold a class now and may be rejected. So if you sign up for a class that doesn't mean the school can actually deliver.
Markaew Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 If anyone is interested. The Teachers Council is stating that they are controlling TC classes because they want 3 day and 4 day classes instead of 2 days. Many farang run schools were offering 2 day classes and the Teachers Council is saying they mistrust these schools and the fact that farangs are preferring the farang run schools instead of Thai run schools is creating more issues. (This was actually spoken to my wife on the phone. I am assuming this is the reason for the crackdown) My opinion: The farang schools are making too much money and the Thai run schools are complaining. Now the Teachers Council is controlling the classes on a case by case basis. Also: Tewi Language School was given permission to hold a TC class starting today for 3 days. The Teachers Council own rules state that the max enrollment is 30. They have over 60 students in this class. (That's a good thing this many teachers could get the class finished)

Scott Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 Your welcome. I think the credit goes to you for posting. (I like taking credit, but really can't because I don't usually accept blame!)
bhoydy Posted May 7, 2011 Author Posted May 7, 2011 This is a thread about the TC Tests, but the last few posts seem to be talking about the Culture Course if i'm not mistaken. Or am i? I'm not sure, can someone clarify? Also, a 2.5 day course running from the 4th to 27th of April. Confused
Scott Posted May 7, 2011 Posted May 7, 2011 Oops, I think you are correct. I'll re-post your link from the OP: http://www.ksp.or.th...ation%20day.pdf This is about the actual tests, not the Thai Culture Course.
