Travel To Malaysia

Featured Replies

I am planning a trip to KL from Bangkok but from KL I plan to return to Thailand (Phuket) on a private yacht. My return ticket to BKK would be from Phuket. Would the airlines accept this or would I need to buy a ticket from KL to BKK or Phuket which will not be used ? I am American so no Malaysian visa needed.

Are you asking about the requirements for Thailand or for Malaysia?

It seems as if he is asking if the airline in BKK will let him on the flight to KUL.

My answer is that Airlines may refuse without a return.

However he may be able to get a visa put in his passport in advance at the Malasian Embassy which will avoid this.

Thanks....I was concerned about Airline requirement when I leave Thailand since they often ask to see return flight ticket. A visa might get around this requirement.
